Adding Categories to a Report

Adding display categories to a report is a key part of content management in Content Catalyst.

Display categories act as containers for all reports uploaded to Content Catalyst. They are used for organising, searching and licensing your subscribers' content.

Display categories the report is currently assigned to will be shown on report landing pages, as shown below.

Adding a Category to a single report

To add a category to a single report, head to Admin > Contents > Reports.

Select an existing report.

Under the 'Display Categories' area,  select the pencil icon to 'edit categories' the report is assigned to.

🔔Note: If a report is not assigned to any categories, it will not be visible to subscribers.

Select the chosen category or categories and 'Apply changes' to save.

Once the category has been added, it will appear as shown below.

PCN Category Topics

Any categories added to a report that match PCN topic groupings will be visible under the Display categories area.

See below

If no categories match topic groupings, the message  'This categorisation does not match any topics' will be displayed.
