Showcase: List Categories

This section allows administrators to promote any display categories, including subcategories, on your showcase page, regardless of individual licensing.

This section is designed to display the categories, making it easier for users to explore and for categories to be promoted. 

How It Works

• Use the 'Choose Categories' dropdown menu to select a display category to promote for all subscribers.
• Any number of display categories can be selected. 
• The section will present the selected categories for all users regardless of licensing.
• Selecting a top-level category will automatically show all of that category's top-level categories. 
  
  

In the example shown below, the top-level category of 'Featured' has been selected in the choose categories dropdown menu. 

As shown in the Display Categories section, we can see that the Top Level category of Featured has the following associated categories:

Articles 

Reports

Data

Videos 

News

Since the 'Featured' category has been selected, all associated categories will be displayed within this section without padlocks, regardless of licensing.

Category Cards Display

Each selected category is shown as an individual card. Optional metadata can enhance these cards to give users more context and encourage further exploration.

Each category is shown as a card, with the option to enhance these cards using the following optional metadata:

• Recently Published Date – Highlights the most recent content.

• Number of Analysts – Shows how many analysts contribute to the category.

• Number of Reports – Indicates the volume of available content.

Tick the relevant checkboxes during section configuration to include any of these fields. The metadata will appear directly beneath the category image on the tile.
