A Buy It Now button can be added on marketing pages to enable users to purchase individual reports.

The Buy It Now button can be added globally or at a report level.
This is how it appears once set up:

Setting up Buy it Now Links
Global Buy it now Link
1. The Buy It Now link can be set globally by navigating to Admin> Content > Reports > Related actions > Global buy it now link.

3. The link can either open in a new tab or in a popup (if the link is https) by clicking the Open https links in popup button.
4. The default button text is 'Buy it Now', but this can be changed in the Button text field if required. Please note that any customised text cannot be translated.
4. To set the buy it now link, put the base URL into the URL field and fill out any required query parameter names (a preview of the link will be displayed automatically).
5. The email, username, product code and price will be populated according to the report being viewed and the user accessing the report.
6. Click Save. A green banner at the top of the page will inform you that your changes have been successful.

Report level Buy It Now links
The global Buy It Now link can be overridden by updating the Buy It Now link on individual report summary pages.
1. This can be accessed via Admin > Content > select the report > Select pen icon in Summary box > Buy It Now link

2. Scroll down to the Buy It Now link field and insert the relevant URL.

🚨 Currently, at the report level, we do not support the automatic population of user and report info, or the option to open in a popup or new tab. This can only be set on a global level.
Buy It Now button behaviour
Shared user
When the user clicks the Buy It Now button, a prompt to register/log in opens.
Once the user has registered/logged in they are redirected back to the marketing page with the Buy It Now link open (if they don't already have access).
Logged in user
If the Buy It Now link is set to open in a popup, the link you've selected will open in an iframe. Once the user closes the popup, if they have gained a license to the report they will be redirected to read it (otherwise they will remain on the marketing page).
Other Options
The other options for the Global Buy It Now link are:
- None (hides the Buy It Now button) - This is useful if you don't wish to sell individual reports.
- Notify Account Manager - This would provide a button for the user to 'Request Access'. Again the text is fully customizable. When the user clicks this button, a popup appears to see the Account Manager an email. If there is no Account Manager for that account, it will send an email to the default sales address.
