      Setting-up a Homepage Carousel

      This article is a guide to configuring your homepage carousel, a powerful visual marketing tool in the Content Catalyst platform

      Read this article to understand how to:

      • Promote new products
      • Upsell existing reports and datasets
      • Strengthen brand identity on the CC platform

       

      It's possible to set up a homepage carousel to help make your homepage stand out and provide visual links. You can have up to three slides.

      Adding a slide

       

      1. To set up carousel slides navigate to Site Administration > Homepage carousel.

      2. To upload a slide image click on Choose file.

       

      🚨 Please note that images should be 2000px by 320px in dimension and less than 400KB in size. To ensure all important content is viewable on various screen sizes, make sure you keep the outer 320px at each end clear of important info.

      3. After uploading an image, the image’s name will appear next to the Choose File button.

      Adding a link to a slide

       

      1. To make slide images clickable you can set up a link to any external/internal URL.

       

      🚨 Please note that links need to be fully qualified URLs and accompanied by an image.

      2. Once an image or an image/link have been provided, click on Save. The UI will update to show a preview of the uploaded image.

      Deleting a slide

       

      1. To delete a slide, click on the delete icon.

      2. Click on Save to confirm slide deletion.
