Personalised Content Notifications: Overview & End-User Experience

Personalised Content Notifications transform how you keep your subscribers engaged and informed about new, relevant content releases

What are they? 

Personalised Content Notifications are email notifications sent from the Content Catalyst platform directly into your subscribers’ email inboxes informing them of new content releases related to their personal preferences.

This is a fully automated process and does not require any internal administration to send the notifications out to users after initial configuration.

How do subscribers choose their topics? 

Users that have this feature enabled will be prompted when they first log in to fill in their notification preferences, as shown in the image below:

Subscribers have two variables to choose from: the topics they’re interested in and the frequency in which they would like to receive notifications. Each email notification will contain all new content published in the topics they are following.

They can receive notifications:

  • Instantly i.e. as soon as a report in their chosen subject area is published
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Or never and opt out of using the Personalised Content Notifications feature

After this initial prompt, subscribers can update their notification preferences in their profile area.

Once they have set their preferences, your subscribers are all set to be kept up to date with your latest insights and research!
