Hidden Categories
Hidden categories can be used to license specific content to a customer
Hidden categories can be used to license specific content to a customer without other customers seeing them whilst they browse the site.
For example: reports for Coca-Cola are hidden from Pepsi.
How to add a Hidden category
1. To add a hidden category, go to the Content section in the Admin features menu and select Display Categories.
2. You can either Add a new top-level category or select an existing category.
3. Hover over the category name and select Mark as hidden.

4. If a category contains sub-categories unless explicitly hidden, they will inherit the parent category behaviour. Click Continue.

5. Now the category icon is grey.

You will now no longer be able to see this display category on the site.
