Changing Content in the Homepage 'Welcome' Tab
Extensive customisation of your homepage tabs is possible in the Content Catalyst platform using text or HTML
Read this article to understand how to:
- Promote new content and topics.
- Proactively communicate with subscribers via your portal
This tab is located on the homepage and contains your welcome information, which is easily customizable and can be added via the Admin interface.
The Welcome tab enables you to:
- Greet your customers with exciting information in the most visible space (e.g. new hot topics and promotions).
- Communicate with customers directly and effectively.
How to customize the Welcome tab information
🔔 The home page tabs/content can either be site-wide or configured for individual accounts or users.
1. To edit the 'Welcome' tab content, go to the Accounts section of the admin interface and select Global Preferences.
2. In the Home Page Extra Tab Title row, click the 'Edit' icon in the Global default or Account default column, or select a username from the drop-down list and click 'Edit' in the User specific column (as required).
3. Enter the text 'Welcome' and click Save. The system recognizes the word and therefore replaces the default 'Welcome' tab.
4. In the Home Page Extra Tab Content row, click 'edit' in the appropriate column and add text or HTML as required to form your new 'Welcome' tab content
🔔 Note: To configure user-specific preferences, select a user from the drop-down menu after step ii and then click 'Edit' or 'Create' in the 'User-specific setting' column.
