The Showcase Page Administrative Area is a space where administrators can easily manage the active theme of their page, including dynamic and interactive content views that promote and differentiate their content.
The Showcase page helps you highlight valuable content, drive subscriber engagement, and personalise access based on user licensing. Administrators can easily add, re-arrange, and customise dynamic sections to surface reports, promote services, and guide users to key insights.
This article provides steps to access the Showcase page administrative area. Here, you can adjust and configure your showcase page and sections in one easy-to-use space, with no coding required.
Sections of the Showcase page can be added, removed, or rearranged to match your preferred design.
To learn more about the available Showcase Page sections and how each one can be used to support your engagement goals, see the Showcase Available Sections.
How To Access And Configure Your Showcase Page
From the Showcase admin page, administrators can begin building the Showcase experience by adding sections and adjusting their individual settings. By default, each Showcase Page includes three core sections: Hero Section, Advert Section, and Contact Account Manager.
Each section can be expanded to view and configure additional options using the arrow icon on the left-hand side. To make editing easier, use the Expand all or Collapse all buttons to manage how much content is visible on screen at once. This is helpful when working with multiple sections.
Administrators can also customise the title of any section to better match your brand or content strategy.
To get started, navigate to the Showcase area via the admin portal under Site Administration.
🔔Note: This section is only available for users with the ‘Site administration’ permissions assigned. See: Assigning Admin Access to a User.
Next, navigate to the ‘Site Administration’ menu and select ‘Showcase’.
See below:
Adding sections
To add a new section, use the plus icon in the right-hand corner of the page. This will open a menu with all the available sections that can be added.
You'll be able to view the list of sections that are available to add here.
Additionally, add a section either before or after an existing section, select the three dots, and select either the ‘Insert new section after’ or ' Insert new section before option.
See below:
🔔Note: The Hero section will always remain at the top of the showcase page and can not be moved or have sections added before it.

Section Layout: Configure Columns
Sections can be arranged depending on your design preference. The Card Layout area allows administrators the option to set the number of columns and rows displayed.
You have the option to set layouts to 2, 3, or 4 columns, which affects the look of the section for which you configure the columns. All users will see the same column layout for the same section.
The following rules apply when considering section layouts:
2 column layout: displays 1 column up to 600px wide, 1 column between 600px and 900px, and 2 columns over 900px
3 column layout: displays 1 column up to 600px wide, 2 columns between 600px and 900px, and 3 columns over 900px
4 column layout: displays 1 column up to 600px wide, 2 columns, between 600px and 900px, and 4 columns over 900px
🔔Note: The number of columns and rows will adjust responsively depending on the viewer's screen size.
Cards: Reports.
In the 3- and 4-column layouts, the content cards will always show the cover image on top of the card, even in the 2- and 1-column views
In the 2-column layout, the cover image will be positioned to the side in all views. When the screen is narrow, less than 600px, the image will be hidden.
Category cards.
In the 2-, 3-, and 4- column layouts the category cards will always show the cover image on the top of the card even in the 2- and 1- column views
category cards, don't have the image-at-the-side option, so category sections are best in the 3- and 4- column layouts
Report & Category Cover Images
Category Covers:
Category cover images are an effective way to differentiate and brand your content visually. It’s important to note that marketing page covers are separate from Showcase covers, meaning you can tailor visuals specifically for the Showcase Page without affecting other areas of your platform.
Showcase Covers for Categories
Adding a separate showcase cover can give your categories a new look.
To give your categories a fresh look within the Showcase Page, you can upload a separate Showcase cover for each one. This allows you to present a more engaging and visually consistent layout, especially in the Licensed Categories, Unlicensed Categories, and Licensed by Category Image sections.
How to Add a Showcase Cover to a Category:
-
Go to the Admin Portal
-
Use the side menu to navigate to Content > Display Categories
-
Select the category you wish to update
-
Click on Showcase Cover
-
Upload a cover image (JPEG or PNG, max 2MB)
-
Save your changes
This image will now be displayed on the Showcase Page for that category, without impacting your external marketing pages.
No showcase cover image applied for the Display Categories?
The following rules will be applied if no showcase cover is applied to a display category.
The image will default to the next corresponding top-level category showcase cover image. If there is no 'Showcase' Image applied to the Top Level category, the first Letter of the Category name will be used.
In the below example, neither the Top Level category 'Region' or 'Europe' has a showcase image applied so the letter 'E' is displayed instead.
Report Covers:
Showcase report covers give you full control over how individual reports appear on the Showcase Page, allowing for a more branded, polished experience for your users.
By default, reports without a ‘showcase’ cover will inherit from the reports category cover. However, you can override this by uploading a dedicated cover for any report.
How to add a Showcase Cover to a Report:
To apply a ‘Showcase’ cover to a report, head to the relevant report and select edit.
From the information section, scroll down to find the Showcase cover Section.
Select the edit Icon.
Select ‘Upload’ and choose the image you wish to apply as the Showcase report cover.
No showcase cover applied to Reports?
If no showcase cover is applied to a report, the image will default to the corresponding category showcase cover image.
If there is no showcase Image applied to the category, the first Letter of the report title name will be used.
🔔Note: Only JPEG and PNG files with a maximum size of 2 MB are allowed. For more guidelines on Images, See: Image Guidlines.
Save as a draft & Preview
When you make changes to the Showcase page, you can preview these changes or save draft versions of those changes before Publishing.
Preview:
At any point during the configuration, administrators can select the preview option.
This will generate a link with a unique ID in the URL as shown below:
Admins can share the preview link to other users to review.
Draft:
Whilst working with a draft version of the showcase, the top menu text will change to ‘Editing draft version’.
To revert to the previously published version of the page, select ‘Start from published version’
Only the logged-in administrator will be able to see the changes they have saved as a draft.
If more than one administrator has the draft version open to editing, only the first to make changes can save their draft.
Once saved as a draft, the homepage section will alert you that you are editing the draft version and offer the choice to start from the currently published version. You can also preview and publish the page from here.
To revert to the published version of the showcase, select 'start from published version', and then 'discard draft & load published'.
Once published, users will be able to see any text and image changes that you have made to configure the Hero Section.
