Tracking which users have tried to access unlicensed content
Supply your sales team with upsell opportunities and sales leads using this Analytics report
Read this article to understand how to:
- Capitalize on warm sales leads.
- Automatically track vital sales data.
- Gain a better understanding of users' needs and provide them with tailored offers and the content that is most important to them.
The system collects sales data that shows which customers have visited report marketing pages and downloaded marketing brochures. Details including username, contact info and which marketing pages accessed can be viewed.
To access this data, follow these steps:
1. Head to the Admin area > Analysis > Report access
2. Select the to and from dates you require and click Export. This is then exported into an Excel file.
3. When you open the file, it will contain lots of information about what your users have been doing, from accessing a report to exporting content into Word!
4. Within the Excel file turn on filtering. Under 'Request Type', filter by 'Opened product marketing page' and if you use them - 'Downloaded Marketing brochure'.
5. You now have a list of users who have tried to access content that they don't yet own. You can create a pivot table to easily review the data.
