Filtering by Content Type (Figure and Table Only Views)
Your readers can filter search results to show figures and tables only
For all Products
When viewing reports from a search result or tag, you can filter reports to view only figures or tables. This saves users from sifting through lots of unnecessary text.
Within a Product
Figure and table filtering options are available in the Table of Contents on the left when viewing an interactive report.
These are present whilst a report is being viewed and shows the number of figures/tables the user can view in that report.
🔔 Entering a search term will show the number of snippets of that content type that match this (in yellow) rather than the total.
🔔 If the user has chapter-level-only licensing, the site will show only the number of figures/tables the user has a license to.
Within a Chapter
When viewing a chapter (by clicking on the chapter heading), selecting the table or figure filters will remove all content that is not of the selected type.
When a chapter is filtered only to show figures, these appear in the middle pane. Thumbnails of the figures and their titles in each chapter will also be shown in the bar on the left-hand side. Chapters with no figures are not expandable in this filtered view.
The same result happens when selecting to view only tables.
