The file will be processed and all of the text indexed. This process can take some time depending on the size of the file.

Once the file has been imported, refresh the page. The various slides of the PDF will have been imported.
🔔Note: If the Showcase page has been enabled, users will be able to view PPT and PDF style content via the DocuViewer.
Import Interactive Word Content
To import content from a Word document correctly so headings are interactive and tables and graphs are filtered, the document needs to contain styles.
Content Catalyst uses certain word styles to map out how the content is presented after import.
These styles include:
Headings 1-4 – Mapped to the Heading of document chapters, this helps break up content into selectable sections when viewing the report.

Heading 1 for example is used as Chapter headings which can be expanded as the example shows below.

Paragraph – The main body of text used in the content.

Quote – Mapped to show centred quotes in the report content.
Exhibit – Any figures such as tables, graphs and images included in the document should be mapped to the Exhibit styles. This will ensure that they can be navigated via the figures and tables tabs in the report viewer.
Figures can optionally have a source in the Exhibit Source style.

For more guidance on formating word documents for import see: How to Format Word Documents for import.
Certain styles can also be mapped to not be imported. See: How to Amend Word Style Mappings.
🔔Note: On import all headers and footers, title pages and contents pages are discarded.
Once the word document has been configured with the appropriate stylings, navigate to the content tab and drag or select the chosen word file for import.

During the import stage, prompts may be given to administrators warning of the following:
- Any Title Pages are removed.
- Any Header & Footers are removed.
- Any Table of Contents are removed.
- Any unrecognised styles are added as a default style recognised by content catalyst. These can be amended for future uploads.
Once the content has been imported small changes can be made via the content editor.
To View the report as a Licensed user, select the View Report option.
To View the report as a Unlicensed user, select View Marketing page.
