Creating a Download-only Report

Download-only reports don’t have any table of contents or preview options. It is a simple report description with information about the attached file, and an option to download it.

Reports on your site can be made up of content with all kinds of formats - one of the options is a download-only report.

These reports don’t have any table of contents or preview options. It is a simple report description with information about the attached file, and an option to download it.

For download only reports, files appear in usual Attachments panel on the right-hand side. They also feature beneath the report description, as this screenshot shows.

1. To set-up a report in this way, simply navigate to:

Admin > Reports > Select the report > Content tab and select the Import option with Main Content selected in the right-hand panel.  

2. If you upload a PDF or Powerpoint here, the system will automatically extract the file for preview. To undo this (so that the file is available for download only), once it has uploaded, select Edit source file.

3. Then simply deselect the arrow icon (as below).
