Customizable Microsoft PowerPoint Export Templates
PowerPoint export templates can be customized to fit your own branding/specifications.
The metadata included in the export is:
[Figure Title] - This will display the report title.
[Report Title] - This will display the report title.
[Source] - This will display your company name.
[User] - This will display the name of the user who has exported the report.
[Company] - This will be the name of the company listed in the account that the user is a member of.
[IPAddress] - This will be the IP address where the report was exported.
[Copyright] - This will display the copyright declaration as set on your site.
The following conditions apply to the exports:
- Only a single slide style is supported
- Every element on the page is replicated on each slide
- Everything about the page is customizable
- Elements surrounded by [ ] are populated dynamically from the online content
- The figure is centred on the page and expanded to fit the available space
- Branding changes can be made to the master slide also, but dynamic [ ] content must be on the one slide in the template
A note about Fonts
Every font is not necessarily available/installed on every computer font. Substitutions are ultimately in the control of the end user but are typically a sans serif font or a sans serif font (Arial substituted for Frutiger for example) and a serif font for a serif font (Times New Roman for Garamond) and so on.
If you want the exact font you have specified, it will need to be embedded into the PowerPoint document:
This can be done by heading to File > Options > Save. At the bottom, there is a checkbox titled Embed fonts in the file.
