Category landing pages provide customers with easily locatable, visually engaging information on specific topics.

Your site has several features to enable this. There are six varieties of widgets available. This article covers:

Configuring the Category Landing Page

To configure the marketing panel on a Category landing page you'll need to:

1. Head to the Admin page.
2. Click on Content.
3. Select Display Categories.

• Hover over the category you wish to configure and select Manage Category Landing Pages.
• Next, to Add New, you'll be able to select if you'd like to add marketing to the top or the right of the category landing page.

Upon clicking the Add New button you'll be presented with a drop-down menu where you can select the widget you wish to add.

Marketing Block

Within the Marketing Block, you're able to add a description and an icon to appear within the marketing panel.

• Description: This is the text that'll be displayed within the marketing panel.
• Icon: This is an image that can be uploaded and be displayed next to the description. This is optional.

Once saved, you'll be able to see the description and an icon on the marketing panel on the right hand side of the category landing page.

Report Advert

The Report Advert will allow you to highlight specific reports to users who access the category. 

1. First, you will need to create a Title for the report advert. 

2. You'll then need to select the reports you'd like to feature from the drop-down menu and click save.

3. Once you've saved the data, you'll be able to see it on the marketing panel on the category landing page.

News Widget

The News Widget will allow you to link News Feeds from a news feed report into the marketing panel.

• Report - You can select reports that have been marked as NewsFeeds. 
• Item Limit - The number of items to be displayed within the News Widget.
• Order - The date order of items. Can be either 'Ascending' or 'Descending'. If left blank the system will default to 'Descending'.
• Include Future - This option displays news items which are after the current date. The options are 'True' or 'False'. If left blank the system will default to 'True'.
• Include Past - This option display news items which are before the current date. The options are 'True' or 'False'. If left blank the system will default to 'True'.

As you add data you'll need to select Save. Once you've saved the data, you'll be able to see it on the marketing panel on the category landing page.

Simple Marketing Block 

The Simple Marketing Block allows you to add a headline, image and description of your choice to the marketing panel.

• Title - The title of the panel.
• Description - You can add text and HTML here.
• Image - Upload an image.
• Remove Default Styling - This is useful if you have added HTML to the description using specific fonts and sizes. This option will ensure that the panel does not default to the sitewide format.
• Display Description Underneath Image - The standard format is to have the image and text to sit next to each other. This option would display the image above the description.

Once you have configured these options and clicked Save, you'll be able to see it on the category landing page.

Large Category Tree

There are no options other than Save with this widget.

Its purpose is to display tabs of the sub-categories you have created within the category. It will be displayed on the page above Matching Products. 

 Contacts

This allows you to display the contact details of selected Account Managers on the category landing page. You can add up to five users' contact details.  

 Once you've selected the details you would like to show and click Save.

This information will be visible on the category landing page.
